Trident Gastroenterology Associates, P.A. and Elms Endoscopy strive to provide the highest standard of medical care and personal comfort. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the digestive system, including the esophagus, stomach, intestines, gall bladder, pancreas and liver. Trident Gastroenterology was formed in 1981 by Robert E. Babb, III, M.D., to provide quality healthcare services to the residents of Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester Counties. In 1993 Dr. Babb was joined by Salvatore A. Moscatello, D.O. Marc D. New, M.D., joined the practice in 1998. Todd Snyder, M.D., joined the practice in 2002, and David A Florez, M.D., joined the practice in 2003. Dr. Robert Babb retired in February 2004.
